Philippines 1000L Coconut Wine Brewery Project: Steam-Heated Production with Fermentation & Mixing Tanks

Introduction

We are proud to showcase our successful installation of a 1000L coconut wine brewery in the Philippines, a tailored solution designed to leverage the region’s abundant coconut resources. This project integrates key equipment—steam heating systems, 1000L fermentation tanks, and 1000L mixing tanks—to streamline coconut wine production, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high-quality output. Our turnkey solution supports local artisans in scaling their craft, meeting the growing demand for authentic, locally brewed coconut wine in the Philippines and beyond.

Equipment Highlights

Steam Heating System

At the core of this brewery is a steam heating system, a critical component for precise temperature control throughout the coconut wine production process. Steam heating ensures uniform heat distribution during coconut milk extraction, fermentation activation, and pasteurization stages. This technology eliminates temperature fluctuations, a common challenge in traditional brewing, thereby preserving the natural sweetness and aroma of coconuts. Energy-efficient and easy to regulate, the steam system adapts to different production phases, from gentle heating during fermentation to higher temperatures for sterilization, making it ideal for artisanal coconut wine crafting.

1000L Fermentation Tanks

The brewery features 1000L stainless steel fermentation tanks, custom-engineered to optimize coconut wine fermentation. These tanks are designed with conical bottoms to facilitate yeast sedimentation and easy draining, while their airtight seals prevent contamination and maintain consistent pressure. Equipped with temperature monitoring ports, they work seamlessly with the steam heating system to maintain the ideal 25–30°C range for yeast activity—critical for converting coconut sugars into alcohol. The 1000L capacity balances scalability with batch control, allowing the Philippine brewery to produce large quantities while retaining the ability to experiment with small-batch flavor variations.

1000L Mixing Tanks

Complementing the fermentation setup are 1000L stainless steel mixing tanks, essential for pre-fermentation processing. These tanks handle the initial steps: blending coconut juice, water, and any additives (such as natural sugars or spices) to create a uniform base before fermentation. Equipped with high-torque agitators, they ensure thorough mixing without damaging the delicate coconut solids, preserving texture and flavor. The steam heating jacket around the mixing tanks also allows pre-heating of the coconut mixture, activating enzymes that enhance sugar extraction—key to boosting fermentation efficiency and final alcohol content.

Project Execution

Customized Design for Philippine Conditions

Our team conducted on-site assessments to tailor the brewery layout to the Philippines’ climate and space constraints. The steam heating system was adapted to work with local energy sources, while the stainless steel tanks were treated for corrosion resistance, ensuring durability in humid environments. We also optimized workflow between the mixing tanks, fermentation tanks, and bottling stations to minimize manual handling, reducing production time.

Installation & Training

A team of expert technicians traveled to the Philippines to oversee equipment installation, ensuring seamless integration of the steam heating system, 1000L fermentation tanks, and mixing tanks. Post-installation, we provided hands-on training for the brewery staff, covering tank operation, steam temperature control, fermentation monitoring, and maintenance best practices. This empowers local operators to manage the entire production cycle independently, from coconut processing to quality testing.
